When should my child’s first visit to the Dentist be?

Many parents are surprised to learn that their child should have their first dental visit by their first birthday.

To prevent early childhood cavities, it is important for parents to learn about their child’s risk of developing cavities. They also need to learn how to manage diet, hygiene and fluoride to prevent problems.
